This tree has been living under my bed and in my attic for several years now - this has been one of those projects that begin with great gusto and enthusiasm only to reach a point where I lose all sense of what to do next. So. . . nothing is precisely what happened next for a long time. I resurrected this tree recently, and realized with glee that I knew exactly what to do! This tree has a marvelous secret, a secret that has remained sequestered in the hidden parts of this world for quite long enough. Soon I will share it with you, and I do hope that it will delight you as it has always delighted me.

Two Imps

Several weeks ago I started sketching these two imps and wrote a charming rhyme to accompany them.

Unfinished Faery . . .
My little unfinished faery. It looks so indignant! Perhaps because it has no head! I began this drawing some time ago, and have yet to decide what sort of face ought to be attached to this body. So for now it will live in my little studio near my other creatures, sitting in the window and waiting for its head.
